Looks simple enough on ours. Two 3mm pegs, soft enough to drill, to register and fix the, probably, interference fit barrel.
As said, don't know if TO1 is same.

I'd say unless you are very sure how the barrel is fixed in the action, leave well alone.
I rebarrelled a 52 some years ago.
The barrel was fixed with a cross pin, but was also fitted on splines. That barrel needed pressing out after the pin was removed.

Couldn't you build a vertical steam tube to hang the action in ?

Yes it can be dangerous! I have a couple of dents on my hand,when I forgot to put my gloves on It seems to keep on burning even though you have scrubbed it off.Since found out that vinegar neutralises the chemicals.
