    Anschutz 250 target rifle

One of our members recently died and left a number of guns to our club(Leics & District SB Rifle & Pistol Club)
One of these is an Anschutz 250, 10 metre side lever rifle which we need to move on.

The bluing is surprisingly very good condition but the walnut stock is in need of refinishing as it has quite a number of scratches and dinks from being put in and out of a firearms safe between other rifles.

The rifle shoots and has the Anschutz target sights, a hard case and bipod.
Collection only from the club at Groby. Price £150

Groby is just west of Leicester on the A50, 10 minutes from M1 junctions 22 or 21A.

That is a nice rifle for a great price!

Are you going to take up bell-target shooting?
Too many guns, or not enough time?

    Cheers Tone,

Always had a soft spot for old Annie’s

Had a 335 couple of years back and enjoyed it.

Be interested to see how the oil damper compares to the sledge setup on the 300s as I’ve not had the 250 before.

Baby steps at the minute Mark can’t believe it was 11 years ago when I was frequenting the MM club

    Boy how time flies eh.

I’m using my 10m range at home to reduce costs with todays outrageous travelling expenses and have a bell target face that a friend sent me recently that I need to setup at home. Also have a dedicated 6-10m range at the Notts tunnel club that I use on occasion.

For now I’m just fascinated again with the old 10m vintage stuff.

I’m a big fan of the 250, very accurate rifle.

    Enjoy!

Yep, I have also always had a soft spot for the Anschutz rifles but never managed to get round to owning any.

It'll be very interesting to hear of your assessments. Be great if we got a guaranteed scorcher for the July Bash and you could bring it along?
