I've got one of these scopes left from four I had. I'd like to put it on a springer, but don't want to wreck my last of these scopes. Does anyone know for sure if they're springer-proof?
Hi Steve
If it’s the WTC Simmons 1.5-5x20 then yes they are springer rated.
I have one on my Hw99s, great scope..
Les..
Thanks to PCPShooter and Les Allam - that's what I was hoping!
I'm going to put it on a Webley Longbow I've had refinished and sorted out internally.
I have one on my Theoben Fenman gas rammer -- no problems.
Thanks, Allan.
Another vote, I have one on my hw77 25 cal, no problems, works well
i have one on my pig gun,a hot loaded Marlin 1895 in 45-70,holds zero.
more guns than you can shake a stick at!
I've used them on springers without issue.
Thanks to all who've replied - I now feel happy to put it on the Longbow.
Would echo this - my 2010’s model performed with aplomb mounted on a BSA Lightning XL Tactical, HW90K (with Dampa) and a Theoben Evolution. About to mount on my magnificent Imp Mk II!
