Welcome to the BBS, Dave.
The only thing I can think that Yarmouth is famous for is Desperate Dans custom shop --- there must be more to it though ?
All the best Mick
Another one new to this forum.
From near the Norfolk riviera, “Great” Yarmouth, famous for very little.
Best
Dave.

welcome to the forum
Morning Dave
I have to take issue with you, Yarmouth is famous for many things...
The glove man: https://youtu.be/2Mf8qjCRrlc
Pie and peas on the market, sadly a thing of the past:

Then, there's the hippodrome :

Not to mention it's celebrity owner Peter Jay of the jaywalkers.
Then there's, Jim Davidson, horse muck, seagull attacks and Pownells.
I could go on.
Anyway, welcome to the BBS. You're not too far from the Norfolk Broads Bell target club if you fancy a go some time. We have a website that pops up on that there Google.
Finally, just for more interesting stuff, my mum and dad honeymooned in Gorleston. Weirdly by todays standards they went with another couple to save on petrol.
And I took my RYA powerboat level 2 off Gorleston on a wet and windy force 9 of a day. Getting back into the harbour in an eighteen foot boat was a proper challenge.

Hi Dave,
Well yes there is those !
It certainly was on the map years back, as a youngster here in the seventies it was already declining though, the market is a controversial "improvement" and the gulls miss some of the favourite stalls I'm sure.
I have only recently returned to owning an airgun, after a long hiatus, during my pistol and centrefire years, nowadays just loading shotguns only for fowling and pest control.
The airgun bell target however has escaped me, although naturally I have often heard about it. I appreciate the offer, and Ludlum is not that far .
Best
Dave.
