    Steyr LP50

    Evening all,

Just wondering what peoples experiences are with the Lp50?

I’m thinking of getting as would like a 5 shot semi auto, haven't had the chance to see one in the flesh yet so any info would be great!

    TIA 👍

Quality. But budget for more mags, I have six to go with mine and still get annoyed at times having to reload them so often

Great. I bought one as my first 'proper' target pistol as I thought it would allow me to do all disciplines. After a year of not doing any rapid fire comps but doing pretty well in 10m AP I bought a dedicated single shot pistol.

    Thanks for the info chaps!

I’ve heard the magazines can be expensive! £48 a piece 😳
I’ve currently got two single shot target pistols but really fancy myself a 5 shot, the steyr is by far the best but I also like the Aeron B96 Co2 👀

I have an LP50 (full length) and an LP50 Compact and both shoot really well.

My older LP5 is also a superb performer and its barrel length is mid-way between the full length LP50 and the compact LP50 so in many ways it has the benefits of both and makes an ideal compromise that gives nothing away.

Used LP5 can be bought for less than used LP50 so they can make a really good buy and they use the same magazines as the newer LP50 version.
