The added forward weight and longer sight radius should help, though I can’t tell much difference in practice between my standard and comp Umarex replicas.
And the comp can be found with the target sights, which are a help.
Looking for some advice, am looking to get the cp88 for target shooting + club pistol competitions. Is it worth the extra money for the longer barrel? Or are they both the same for up to 12 meters range. Thanks

Get the longer barrel
Thanks for the reply, I have managed to get to try both in my club and have noticed the slight weight increase at the front for the longer barrel. They shoot the same but the sight is so much better on the competition. So will go for the competition.
Anyone have an issue with the CP88 competition foresight wobbling? I had to put a slip of tin in mine for alignment. Mine is the only one at the club so none others to compare it to.
I'd go for the longer barrel and better sight plane
