Hi,
Do you clean your primer pockets and tumble your brass ?
I bought some Henry krank primers and they’re pretty hard to seat even when I’ve cleaned the primer pockets out
Also, how many 44 magnum cases do you need ?
Regards Stephen

I’ve never had issues with Federal primers, but I can’t say the same for S&B brass.
After some very accurate measuring and deep, deep thinking, I set to work on these when I finished todays fabrication list......
A chamfer alone hadn't changed things, so I spun them up in the lathe and cleaned the pocket with a 5.2mm bit, I gave it a little wiggle as it was only catching occasion burrs. I finished that with a chamfer and....
They load fine now
It's a bit of a faff, it took me around 40 minutes to do 50 cases, but I hope it's something I only have to do once.
Just as well as I still have an unfired box to get through
Federal primers are softer than other primers. CCI primers might go in without crushing.
I stopped using CCI because I was getting the odd misfire due to the primer being thicker/harder.
I have never had a problem with Federal primers.

I've always found that the Eastern European primers are a bit of a tight squeeze. I've noticed it with S&B, PPU and Murom.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
