Just a tentative post.
Are these still easy to find?
Have a yearning to relive some youth.
Cheers

Dance like no one is watching.
Sing like no one can hear.
Scratch yourself like you think the zoom meeting has ended.

The triggers are not how I remembered them!!!...
The downside of being spoilt in the intervening 45 years
I am the man that had one for sale last week
Although it worked perfectly it was a little grubby so when it didn't sell I stripped it for a deep clean and that is how its stayed until now as i caught covid in the intervening days and have not been out the door
They don't turn up that often anymore but are still nice and cheap when they do, i can sell you this one in bits for you to fettle yourself or if you can wait a few days can stick it back together for you
Thanks for the heads up Dan
These pistols were made by the thousand and have survived well. There was at least one boxed example at the last Kempton and they can often be found on many a dealer's table.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01, T09, T21, T22
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

Available via Marshall Ward's club book, about 1975, for the princely sum of £6.50. Or you could pay 40p a week for 20 weeks.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.
Lots of them end up at auctions. If you find nothing locally try the Thesaleroom.com
