NEXT EVENT :- May 17/18, 2025.........BOING!!
Managed to find the time to squeeze a little plink in yesterday.
With the weather being foul.....heavy rain and windy, a hallway session was called for. I'd wanted to use open sights but my eyes had other ideas (!), so I decided to use the little HW30S, bought from Nick, Oldskoolz, and de-tuned by Brucieboy, wearing the little 1.5-5x32 Simmons. Shot at varying low mags down the hallway at about 11 yards for a nice, therapeutic play.

Getting some early practice in for the summer bash bell targets.
Yep, that little rifle is delightful in every way, Nick.
So little cocking effort, light and so tiny an amount of movement on firing giving stunning accuracy. You can use it all day. I know that many of us have now said it so many times, but the little 30 can do so much if ranges are kept sensible. Love 'em. A few of the Boingeteers have even slain The Bucket with a 30.

Great stuff.
Not owning a Bell, I've often thought of making some paper targets up to replicate the dimensions of a Bell Target plate and using those. Would have to do it outdoors on brighter days or sort some better light out, though, for me to use opens at the moment.
P.S.....just think.......those 1377 carbines of ours, if fitted with a peep rear would be stunning for the purpose. A bit too easy, in fact? But three nice easy pumps would more than suffice and not become tiresome over a long session.

I'm enjoying the king size bed
The moles can wait
Was out pellet/accuracy testing a recently acquired S200 yesterday.
Also trying to help a injured buzzard that was out the back at my dad's when I pulled up yesterday. Let me tell you , the RSPB AND RSPCA are total shower of shxte. I'm guessing the poor thing has now been pecked to death by the magpies and crows that where gathering whilst I was there. The Maggie's had already started harassing it ,nipping at its wings.
LOOKING FOR A BSA ULTRA IN .177 and .25
I'm going to the BIRMINGHAM ANTIQUE ARMS & MILITARIA FAIR (sorry I copied and pasted that bit) never been to one before and as it's only just down the road from me, it seems silly not to, I didn't go to the last one as I was busy, hopefully I may find those elusive rifles I've been after to add to the collection.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
