Wonderful rifles. A drum mag on top of an underlever, the designer must have been on shrooms.
Won't be flogging mine in a hurry.

Remarkable rifle and five days still to go. I know nothing about these but it will be interesting to see how much it fetches.

Looks like it has been reblued over pitting. and the stock might have been shortened as well. at that price l wish l had kept mine.

This is a strange one because it says it's a IV E (ie. export model) on the cylinder, it does not have an English-style pistol grip stock and rounded trigger block as you'd expect.

As at this morning, the price is just over Euros 3000 and with four days to go. Remarkable. What would these go for without the magazine, I wonder, and what power output did they have?

Is the trigger block and stock from a later model?.
A Junior fetched big money on Egun a while back. It was thinly rusted overall and had a smashed stock which was badly repaired.
Some have been seen with the drum removed but the auto-opening tap left to function, maybe the owner was frustrated by pellet jams.
One such sold on Auction Arms about ten years ago- this was a full-stock model and looked stunning despite the missing.

I have this Haenel mod V Junior repeater and it's available - but only if you have a Westley Richards concentric model to swap/part-ex for it.

I am in agreement with Epicyclic in that I think this is the front part of a 1VE repeater which has been fitted with the trigger block and stock from a model II or similar.
I have Haenel Model 1VE repeater S/No 54 also date stamped 11.28 which has rounded trigger block and nicely figured walnut stock with chequered pistol grip with plain steel butt plate.
I have been collecting for 25 years and in this time have seen only five examples of Haenel Mod 1VE Repeater, all but one of these numbered under 100, all of which had rounded trigger block and
chequered walnut stocks.
4 of these were .177 cal., 1 was .22 which I think was numbered just over 100.
I also agree with Mick in thinking the proportions of the stock of the one for sale on Egun seem to appear to be shortened, and also looking at the photo of the slot under the cylinder that it appears to
have been refinished over pitting.
I don't think I would want to be paying over 3000 Euros for this one!

Final price on Egun was EUR 5235 !!
Must be a record price for a Haenel IVE Rep.

Seems the Germans will pay anything for these old Haenels? Haenel 28R go for crazy money there as well. Think so many were exported.

Very interesting price.
It seems that certain rifles develop cult followings in certain countries. I was told, for example, that the Anschutz 335 receives a premium in the Balkans (Serbia, I think). However, exporting something to there would encounter risks.

Wow, somebody had very deep pockets !!
I too would say that the stock had been shortened and the trigger block looks wrong. I have seen bent trigger blocks on these guns, but that one seems far too wide for the IVE.
If memory serves me right, didnt someone buy a IVE repeater at auction, that was minus the repeater mechanism, so he made it from scratch. I seem to remember admiring the engineeering of the project.
Lovely guns nevertheless.
