HW80 I'd say.
Hi chaps, just getting back into things and forgotten too much! I have owned a (MK II IIRC) 77k for many years - what was the nearest model in the range in terms of size etc but in a break barrel?
Max; looking for: Baikal IZH 61 side lever rifle
HW80 I'd say.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in
I would have to agree, the HW80 was the equivalent at the time. Since then lighter versions have been introduced such as the HW95 and HW99 to meet demand. Then there is the HW35 that was and still is around.
Thanks - was it just one length model then?

HW80K or HW85K. Mach 1.5
I would have thought the HW85 was the equivalent break barrel of the time. Smaller bore than the HW80
Yep, I'd say HW80 in terms of size, weight, "premium" standing in the range and the 85 for more comparable internals.
