    Weihrauch HW35K Limited Edition

    Morning folks,

I’ve just collected one of the above, with the satin silver action and grey laminate stock, number 158 of 215, complete with a 4-16x44 West Hunter ‘scope, also in a satin silver colour.

My rifle is .22 calibre, and is in absolutely immaculate condition; a mate bought it from a local dealer, and decided he didn’t want to keep it

It’s a bit long with the moderator attached, so I’m on the lookout for a screw-on cover for the thread at the muzzle, preferably in silver to match the rifle.

The rifle adds to my collection of Weihrauchs, and what wonderful guns they are (that’s sure to stir some comments )

Anyone else got one, and if so, how do you find shooting it with the moderator on?

All I’ve got to do now is find one in .177 for a matching pair

    Where do I start
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I don’t have the silver limited edition but have a Jubilee model which has the blued action and a blue laminate stock. That also seems quite long when fitted with the supplied moderator compared to some other rifles. However, it is only about 75mm longer than my HW95 and actually 75mm shorter than a Walter Terrus when both are fitted with the same type of moderator

    I have No. 108 in .22

Unused but preowned in local RFD at a keen price

Looks bit daft with the original silencer

I found a short silencer on a Crosman which was silver coloured under black paint

    It shoots rather well

Don't be daft, I was just thinking of putting a new cutting disc on the angle grinder.

    35

It's a shame HW didn't go with a 12 inch k barrel like it does with the 80, 95 and 98 I think this would have made it a little more compact and attractive with the mod fitted. Mach 1.5

    Yes
Bit of an odd decision on what was an expensive Special Edition

Thanks for the replies gents, I agree it does look rather long with the supplied moderator attached, and a shorter barrel would have been more practical.

I doubt if I’ll be using it much, just a few shots down the club occasionally and maybe a visit to one of the Boinger Bashes at some time.

I’m pleased to say it’s Weihrauch number 14 in my HW collection of rifles and pistols

    Just don't use the silencer.
Springers only sound noisy close up.
    Downrange they are pretty quiet.

    Don’t make much difference anyway

But you have to put something on the long exposed thread on this gun
