I’m going to drive to Cheltenham on Monday for my 6 week post-op appointment with the Consultant, that’ll be about a 45mins journey. Let’s see how I go. I’m holding back on committing to The Bash due to it being a 2.5/3 hour drive. I’m also still unsure if camping is a wise move or not at this stage.

Great to hear of your continuing progress, Pauly. Let's hope the drive and appointment tomorrow all goes well.

Of course, we all want our Pauly to be at The Bash. And I bet you're gagging for it. But you're right. If you're not ready and it's too much of an ask to your continuing recovery and long term health, don't you be pushing it too far.

Indeed. As Dave says, you and your niece will be more than welcome. And all types of gun are allowed as long as they're sub-12 rifles and sub-6 pistols.

    You'll love it.

Yes, you do just that, Mikey. We certainly don't want you getting struck down with this poxy, horrible virus again. I'm sure I heard the other day on the news that there are some vigorous new variants out there that they're watching closely, but it can go and do one for now and stay well away!

Are you aiming to get there on the Thursday?

Blimey.....and when I say "the Thursday", that's NEXT THURSDAY! So only a week and a bit away! Wow!

    So very nearlier, nearly there!

Hopefully those numbers shoot up and the thread usually starts to get busier around now up until about the Thursday.

We're getting so, so close. Wonder if this week's scorchio conditions continue?...

This time next week I’ll be driving up through France. I haven’t even chosen a gun to bring yet!?

I didn't find anything at Kempton that I had to have
Lot's of nice things but nothing really grabbed me
I told Craig that he could borrow one of my guns if he couldn't find time to put his back together
I have found a .25 mk 1 meteor with a bent barrel and dodgy spring. Anyone got a broken scope to top it off?
