To be honest, I don't think it's a distance issue as, even if you haven't shot at longer ranges in a while, holdover and under are soon processed. Wind requirements can be interesting, though. The main thing is getting trigger time in. Any trigger time. All I've done since the last Bash is put another scope on a manky old Supersport of mine. Zero it. Fit some different mounts (with another scope) and zero that in. And that's it. Plus a few shots with a Ratty to zero a red dot back in. And neither of these might come to The Bash anyway if it's going to be dry!
Good excuses, eh?
I'm ashamed to say I've spent most of the past few months 'looking' at my rifles, a combination of working 60 hour weeks and then a broken hand then bloody covid. Thankfully the cast is now off, and free of the germs so all good to go.
I'm hoping to to get there Friday aft/eve but it'll depend on finish time Friday. If not it'll be early Saturday, what time do the gates open??

I have a holder for 6.4mm.
I have some larger ones that I have not got round to making a holder.
