I’ve reluctantly decided that I won’t be attending :. I had a walk in the Forest a few days ago, very uneven ground and I probably twisted my leg ‘the wrong way’ at some point which put me me back on a walking stick the next day. I’m fine again now but it’s made me realise I’m still in the early stage of recovery and need to continue to be careful for another month or so yet. Wandering around in the dark on uneven ground coupled with a few bevvies and lots of tent guy ropes probably isn’t the wisest thing to do just yet .
It’s a bloody long wait until the next one but like Gav said in an earlier post, I’m better off playing the long game over a couple of days of fun.

Shame that, but your reasoning is sound.
Better to admit you walked through the wrong door than spend your life in the wrong room

Don't wander round, just stay warm by the campfire until dawn, with the naughty boys who lead the rest astray.

    Take care of yourself.

Yep, sorry that you can't join us, Pauly, but it very much sounds like you're doing the sensible thing.

You take good care my cuddly little one.

Cheers lads. It’s all you guys I’ll miss as opposed to the fortune I’ll save in pellets (as Pete says above) .I’ve been in turmoil deciding. Reading the preparation and travel plans over the coming days will be tough.
