    My 'oldies':
2x S410 mk1 which are better than new ones in every possible way minters from a collection
1x S310 which, dispite looking like a T-rex's chew toy, does what it's ment but about to have a re-valve as it's gone a bit inconsistant.
An as sold by BSA 'Kit' early small (not jsr) stock Ultra MMC-C / 4-16x44ao BSA scope / BSA mod / BSA pump as my 'day-to-day' quarry rifle over owning a modern bull-pup. The only 'downer' with this rifle is that it didn't come in it's 'kit' issue bag.

Better than me when fed its preferred diet of old bismags…but I had exhausted my supply of old bismags and so made the rookie mistake of buying 5 tins of the new bismags thinking they will be alright but they’re not the same, gun doesn’t perform as well with them. Using AA fields and old blue wasps through it last time out but will have to do some testing to see if I can find something it likes a bit better.

Sounds like there are a few folks out there who are quite happy to live with 'old faithful' and who would politely decline the offer of a new pcp from the current range of offerings.

Are there many career 707's still on the go? I know they were quite popular with some at one time.
