EV2 mk3 air leak

Hi Gents
I went out to shoot yesterday with my air arms EV2, everything went well until after 60 or so shots the gun started to hiss and I lost all the pressure.
When I got home I tried to refill the gun, I could hear air going into the gun but it came out straight through the barrel.
Does anyone have any ideas of what went wrong and how to fix it

I believe yesterday you worded this question very differently You said "mothballed" so how long had the gun been left unused ?
seals can go hard & then fail, lube can both go hard or turn in to 'glue', or a moving part stick in use, it depends on many things.

It obviously needs looking at &/or a service, so if you can't DIY it needs to go to someone who can, be that a local dealer or back to the maker.

If your EV2 has dumped all its air, make sure not loaded please, then try to put air in with the rifle cocked.

Sure it was full to start with.?
Not enough air and the reg dumps the remaining
charge,
Have you tried cocking the gun and refilling it ??
