FX2000 or RWS Excaliber or ??

Comparing my Excaliber / FX2000 there are slight differences, stock obviously but are there any internal parts that are different ? What other rifles is a rebadged FX2000, if so are there any differences to say a different rifle. I prefer my Excaliber to the FX2000.

Thanks that interesting to me & of value. My RWS Excaliber is pre 30000 serial number & I've read up about relivent details. No guage on the RWS, the FX has a guage. Exploded parts diagrams all seem the same. Definately worth knowing all these small details, I'm looking for a rifle for spares.

I originaly thought these were completely different but since read very early ones might be suitable for what I'm thinking.

Maybe you're thinking of the Logun Axsor? The Webley Axsor is pretty much the same gun as the FX2000 and Excalibre.

    Very helpfull, thanks.
Done a quick more informed search for differences between the 2, typical I only found the Logun versions for sale but now with better knowledge I'll dig deeper.

The Webley Axsor is the same gun as the FX2000. Because the bolt action name plate was removable this gun could be either. The Logan Axsor is a totally different gun and can be identified from the Webley Axsor by the position of the bolt handle which exits from the rear of the block, on the Webley Axsor the bolt is in the side of the block.

I have a Webley Axsor and did a bit of digging about the FX connection and this is my take on it.

The Webley Axsor is the original gun made by a Swedish firm that Fredrik Axelson worked with, these guns have a 10mm barrel and a drop down silencer and we're only produced for a few years, he then split with that firm he set up FX. This is where the confusion comes, Webley had 3000 old stocks and needed actions to go in it, this is where he designed the Fx2000 guns which had a 12mm barrel and an air gauge and labelled as Webley Fx2000.

The original firm still produced an action based on his original designs (with the blessing of Fredrick) and these where produced and labelled as lot of other guns with slightly different bolt and stock layouts, these being the Rws, Logan etc.......dom

What surprises me now I've been looking for one is I can't find a .177 version. My first FX was .177 the ones I have now are .22

I once had a .177 carbine Excalibre, the name plate said .22, it was a lovely gun but because I was hunting at the time, I was too scared to take it out in the field as I didn't want to damage it, it also had the early 7 shot mags with the blanked off bit, which annoyed the crap out of me as it didn't matter how you loaded it into the rifle, you could never seem to get the full 7 shots.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I too would have liked one in .177, but they don't seem very common.
