    Preliminary dates 2024

Boy does our calendar fill up quick.

I can't do a bash in July, family holidays and cruising to London.
Also, apparently, I can't be trusted to dog sit and set up a bash at the same time.

    So plan A
    May 4th and 5th
    Sept 7th and 8th

    Plan B
    May 4th and 5th
    Aug 17th and 18th
    Oct 12th and 13th

My personal choice is plan B and as I hold 51% of the shares my vote counts.

    Happy for your thoughts.

I was torn between a second hand Fizz or a new (restricted) Suzuki TS50ERK (ER50) and was persuaded to go for the new bike at £420 in white back in 1980.
I ended up messing around with the baffles, grinding the inlet and outlet ports out and putting a 15/2 front sprocket from a Fizz on it.
With the exception of going downhill it made little difference to the performance.

Thanks for the birthday wishes gents. I'm celebrating by spending it at work (started at 0115) but at least I have a nice new truck...

I liked those later TSs. Those later ones (ERs) with the more angular tanks looked cool in my eyes. I very nearly went for the TS185ER at 17 instead of the X7. Wonder how different my biking might have been had I gone down that route?
I wasn't allowed a 50 when I was 16. Had to wait until my stepdad persuaded my mum that it'd be a good idea for getting to work. I was 17 & bought an absolute shed of a KH100EX, which I very quickly traded it in for a mint, nearly new Honda H100sII. It wasn't the AR125 I wanted (couldn't afford) but it got me through my test.

There's not many beat me with their start times but you do by an hour.
