    Post Classic Airgun World magazine found

    Found this when clearing out a room. It’s my year and month of birth. 😊

    I remember buying that from WH Smiths.
    There was a chap at a Boinger Bash a few years ago with a load of early Airgun Worlds for sale and I was looking for that particular mag' as my memory of the "shooting light bulbs" was vague and thought that they were smashed in woodland. I think the words "Light Fantastic" comes to mind.

    Look at the price, 45p, wasn't the price of the last edition nearer to £4.50.

    Got box loads of the early ones..from 1977 onwards I think. Love looking through them…except the prices!!!

    classic reading

    it was a copy of sporting air rifle found in the crew room at raf halton that started things off for me

    Always lovely to pull out one or two old issues and have a good old flick through.

    And, yes, for me Sporting Air Rifle was the platinum standard of airgun magazines.

    i used to get all three Tone, something went awry with Airgunner sub a while back so now only get Airgun World

    Airgunner is no longer printed they combined the 2 mags together.

    Something awry happened then as don't think have had it for at least eighteen months maybe more, just suddenly stopped arriving, had email about DD having expired but said not taken any payment for a while

    Edit: just read mail, no payment taken for last 24 months
