That was what came to mind but someone mentioned Venom Marauder, I know Jim was involved and IIRC it was fine conversion. I had a standard 335 Mk1 and it was very accurate

It would have been the Venom Hw80 vantage custom for me,and the Theoben Sirocco deluxe.
Both were out of my price range back then.

80's airguns you had a crush on.

FWB 124, HW 35E ,original mod 50, sharp innovas & ace, Airsporter RB carbine & 635 magnum & bsf S70. lusted after them all had them all by now & sold most my itches are well scratched now. Still got the S70 as it was a present for my 50th from my mrs & son. The ace was the biggest disapointment but I got that free, well used & abused.

My pin up was the BSA Mercury S blonde oak or walnut can't remember, or the Innova with a 3-9x56 Optima moonlighter. In 2 place was the HW35E or FWB 124/127 but the Mercury for me was the no.1 blonde bombshell

There was a Airgun world? Review of the Mercury S as described above, by I think John Darling in a summers evening stalk, wish I had kept the magazine back then as the memory brings back a lot of nostalgia of things I could never afford then.

    Happier days all round.

Interesting, thought they didn't go ahead with them due to the effective ban
