Transfer port diameter? I haven't measured mine. I'd guess it's exactly as per the 95.....stated as 3mm on Bruce Gill's excellent thread on bore, stroke, TP, SCR in the Useful Section.

The 97 came out in 93. The 95 came out in 95 and I do think the 98 did come out in 98. I prefer the MK1 stock over the later versions. MK1 98's are a little hard to find second hand I must say. Mach 1.5

MK1 stocks didn't cover the breech block. Later versions did. Mach 1.5

Excellent! I was just guessing at the early 2000s. I knew the 95 came out in 1995 as I bought one when they came out (still own it) and knew the 98 had followed a few years later, but not sure how many years later.

Just checked serial number says 1996-1997 ?? So an early example.

I’ve just gone through my old emails as a couple of years back I actually asked Hull Cartridge direct when certain Weihrauch models were first imported.

From a 2021 email received by Tom Aitchison @ Hull Cartridge.

The HW98 was first imported by HC in 1997

Other models on that specific email was the HW57 was first imported in 2001 and the HW99s was first imported way back in 1996
