I would have thought they are worth nothing.
I have 4 boxes of Prometheus Pellets, 1 box of .177 containing 111.
1 box of .22 containing 94.
1 box of Dynamic SN2 .22 containing 91.
1 box of Dynamic PCP1 .177 containing 202.
Are these collectable or current and does anyone have any idea of value?
Thanks in advance.

Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
It's a little known fact that every box of 125 Prometheus .177 ever sold still contains 111 pellets![]()
Stick them on the bay someone out there still has a metal dustbin needs termination.
i have a handfull of boxes of those in .22 still but dont use them .
not really sure whether they are genuinely high quality pellets or not and why they are not as good as claimed .
i did try them in my superten and hw100 to see what they would do but unfortunately i had a lot of flyers at 30m and some didnt even hit the 2 foot board i had the target on .
lucky i was out on a field with no one around as i dont really know how far off they went but i do know i had so many of them that were at least 6" off and many that were much farther away from centre .
ive only used them in rifles and even my bsa meteor doesnt like them but its possible they may be better in pistols of around 3 ft/lbs .
i dont know the differences in the prometheus range but the ones i have are white plastic or green plastic skirts .
there was a fella recently selling them for £1 per box on and it took some time for him to sell them all off .
think i still have some sabot bullets around too and thats another topic for discussion ..
cheers , ian
I found a nearly full box of Prometheus pellets, I threw them in the bin.
They missed

As a youngster I found one use for Prometheus pellets, they were king at sinking beer bottles we found up at an abandoned quarry and threw into the water. Ordinary bulldogs and milbro Caledonians would bounce off the bobbing bottle necks.
I use prometheus pellets ( and Gamo Lethal) for the dispatch of squirrels and rats in cage traps. Accuracy at 1" doesn't matter but penetration does, also they are lead free so if any carcasses are left out for scavengers then no lead is ingested by buzzards and such.

Always wanting Webley or BSA scorpion pistols or bits. Got the minters, now need scrappers, projects or parts WHY please
They are superior to Pb pellets on shooting up Dinky Toys. Airfix models the Pb pellets are fine.
They are of their time, and unlikely to be manufactured again. Someone will love them in their pellet collection. Stick them on the bay and be surprised how much they fetch.
Those that say bin them probably have a hoard of them, and just want the scarcity price to go up.
Or just shoot them and see how well they hold accuracy against other pellets. Might be interesting to see how well they do in a FAC rifle. I think they just were too light to hold it together without veering off track.
Given their appalling accuracy how did these things get to market? I seem to remember an AGW advert with like a 1” group at 30 yards or something, but there’s no air gun that comes anywhere near that.
I wonder how they work in smoothbore guns?
Bought a box to try,a few missed & wasn't impressed but when one bounced back whistling past my ear I put them away to gather dust.
