POI can vary - don't forget with many of these old airguns, waisted pellets were not always the intended projectile as slugs, ball and darts were also popular.
Maybe try one of the above?
Also worth seeing if the breech lock up is tight.

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01,
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.
