Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. But not lathes. I have too many lathes. Thanks, JB.

Got me thinking about other Ltd editions.

I remember the Green centenary HW97k and I think the HW50S also had one.

Remember the HW35 having a few Ltd edition versions and the grey laminate HW98

I know recently there’s been a few HW100 Ltd editions as well as this latest version.

But has there ever been a pistol Ltd edition?

    I can’t think of any Ltd edition HW40, HW44, HW45 or HW70

Think the closest must be the Bronze star HW45 although it’s not really a Ltd edition.

Must admit I’m losing track nowadays as it seems there’s a lot of manufactures playing this Ltd edition game.

    Unbelievably naff in red.
why is it there are more horses arses in the world than there are horses?

    Laminate

Remember the 95 with the coloured laminate from around 1998..the rare HW77K Natural laminate and the 1987 HW80 Bavarian in a plain blonde laminate stock. Mach 1.5

    Laminate

Nearly forgot the brown laminate stock for the 97 and the green adjustable laminate stock for the 77k also. Mach 1.5

My local RFD was at the BSS yesterday and they have confirmed a few things since I last enquired about these 125th Ltd Ecitions.

    Namely availability and prices

Ok Availability from what my RFD was told it looks like the HW50/97 will be June and the HW100 July/August.

Best pull up a chair for the prices

    Pricing is as follows:
    HW50 £400
    HW97KT £750
    HW100 £1200

Not sure if that will be blanket RRP across the board and my local RFD is usually quite competitive with pricing.

Although I do like the red laminate look the pricing is getting ridiculous now especially on both those springers.

Perhaps I’m actually a little out of touch with current prices for eg.

    A standard 99s/50s is around £300

    A standard 97K is around £500 a 97kt £550?

    A standard HW100 is around £1000

In context a Ltd edition 125th was always going to be a hike and I’m not sure how much of a hike I was expecting

I know that recent HW98 in that grey laminate was quite a hike and it seems they sold them pretty well.

It’s the 97kt at £750 which seems a big hike as I think from memory the 77k with its forest and autumn Green special laminates was around £550

Once again many thanks for the Centenary it really is mint and unused absolutely remarkable considering it’s 25 years old.

My high days and holidays 97K that’s for sure

Just got to find a nice classic Bushnell trophy or Leupold to plonk on top
