BSA Cadet Major Carbine, Not many of these about in fact this is probably it! Carbine barrel 15" long (Normal is 18.5") Story as follows, I got this beat up example some years back, barrel was badly bent at the breechblock to the extent it had creased the rifling. Barrel was sawn off & unsoldered from the block. Front part of barrel straightened & turned to fit the breech block & soldered back in. Sights are as original & it shoots very well. Stock was refininished but is a very pale timber, not sure its walnut at all. Its been reblued with cold blue & looks better than it ought to!
