    Combro's

Are they still made ? Had 2 or 3 over the years, but they don't seem to be around anymore, apart from the odd one in the sales section.

I Remember shooting one of mine and sending it off to be fixed. I'm pretty sure it was free. It's been a while since I've had one.

That's a shame. They were really good.

The main man ran into paperwork problems and decided to either pause or discontinue.

    That's the last I heard.

Oh no, Looks like you won't be seeing that again.
I think a lot of companies have fallen to the tax man, maybe it's easier to close the business than to try and salvage things.

From a conversation several years ago I think the main man is not in any 'trouble' with paperwork, it's only that with the the paperwork situation as was, and maybe as it still is, it was/is not economically sensible to continue the business's operations.

There may be other reasons - the upcoming of the Chinese stuff for example.

I think he had trouble sourcing parts. If you look at his website the LED's for the mk4 are out of stock and these are the normal things that get shot. Hence unable to repair.

Hopefully he can get things sorted and start making them again, they're a great little bit of kit.

As above from what I saw and was told via emails, a complicated mix of tax bureaucracy hurdles and component supplier problems meant that it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to function as a viable entity.
