Hw98 shroud on hw95 ?

I can have an hw98 sleeve and I would to say if I can fit this sleeve on hw95 barrel ?

I have see few post but uncertain

A 98 is a 95 with a barrel sleeve. So yes they will fit a 95 barrel. A couple of friends have done it to theirs. Mach 1.5

If your 95 barrel had open sights on it you may need to file down the stamped grooves the front sight clamps on to.

might be easier to just try the whole 98 barrel assy, and if you don't like it, swap back. It's quite heavy though - unnecesarily in my view - and if it's muzzle flip and hold sensitivity you are trying to tame, an 8mm short stroke adapter from Tinbum will give you better results for a lot less cost and hassle.

From memory HW are not good at letting people just buy the shroud.
