The 'A' prefix is defined by having the trigger adjustment via a nut & bolt through the front of the trigger guard; heavy duty trigger; the breech area machined flat; and a pistol grip to the stock with 'BSA' over impressed chequering.

This example is completely original, with full blued finish, slight fading to the trigger block which is common, and with all the etching of the name and patent dates in the white!
Both open sights present and correct.
Excellent stock with original varnish, and the butt plug all good and proper.

A beautiful example of a rare air rifle, as good as they come really.
