The 80 and the Longbow again Tony
Conditions were perfect with no wind
    It was dull though
Groups were in the main estimated at under and inch with landing 3 shots on top of each other happening regularly
We are not allowed to walk forward so accurate measurements weren't possible

I was going to get a tin of .22 Hobbys, Ramsbottoms haven't got them in stock. I need some more H&N FTT's too, got the last ones from Yates's in Malton, now looking online I find there are three different sizes in .22, the ones I had previously are 5.53, but online all I can find are 5.54 & 5.55

    Understood.

Excellent shooting, sir; especially those pellet-on-pellet shots.

It does demonstrate, however, how much of a "luck element" creeps in when shooting at our beloved Quigley Bucket......small target, often windy, blustery conditions and about 75 yards. I only really have the odd go at it but have connected with it a few times over the years, but prefer to stick to the more "real world" 50/55 yards max. But hats off to all you super tip-top snipers who connect with it so regularly.....especially those who exhibit the uncanny skill of many consecutive hits.

If JSR don't have them, do give NM a try. They might well have the FTTs you need, too.

It might also be worth ringing Range & Country at Sleaford. The last time I bought pellets there, they were very good on price. They could mail them out. Or, depending on what time you were travelling to The Bash, you might be able to collect from there - Sleaford is only about 20 minutes' drive from Newark, where you'd be coming off the A1 and going down the 46 to Neil's. Same roundabout when you come off the A1 - take the A17 (I think) to Sleaford.

I've managed to re-plan my summer and can now make the bash, so I can spend a delightful few days with all you wonderful people at the idyllic quigley bottom..
Both myself and rocket ronster will be able to make it, prob arrive on Thursday, It's not far away at all now, fingers crossed for the weather.

Neil I've sent some funds over to you via bank transfer.

Who are NM please Tony ? My brain won't fire up at this time on a Sunday morning

Range & country does look like it's worth having a trip out to, I was thinking of a drive out for supplies during the bash seeing as I'm there Thursday to Sunday (hopefully).

Good news Terry. Hoping to arrive Friday afternoon, as the Mrs is bringing the campervan back on Friday from a walking break.
On the subject of on line vendors; NMP, JSR, Wolfman, Uttings all used without issue. Just depends who has what in stock.

I have had a few orders of pellets from Wolfman, but I've recently discovered that JSR are quite a bit cheaper !

Was after some Hobbys on Mikes advice for the HW45 to bring to the Bash, I doubt that I'll get to the range before then (which I was hoping to do), as I've got two radiators to plumb in this afternoon

    That is brilliant news, Terry.

Be great to see you and The Ronster again.

Cheers, I hadn't heard of them no wonder I couldn't remember lol. They haven't got any Hobbys in .22 either

Not like I haven't got thousands of other pellets in .22 anyway

I have a strange bit of chronograph testing to do
I have a couple of new radio controlled tanks in the collection
I was trying the Challenger 2 out this morning
Bloody hell the BBs fly out of that. I wouldn't want to get in the way of one
Painting it up and building the missing armour etc will keep me busy in winter
