I did find time to zero a 97 and an LGV just yesterday, so I've got a couple to bring along.

I've just ordered a Reximex Myth in .22 for farm work at around 15 - 20 yards and thought the Simmons would be a good scope for the job but the 2-7x32 will be perfect.Isn't it nice when you re-discover things like this that you had forgotten you had?

Then a man even older than I joined the conversation with tales of 30 years of beating. His main ambition was to tell us how powerful his guns had been and how you could take down certain quarry ( which in my FAC days needed1000ft lbs) with sub 12 if you aimed for the right place. Told him I felt different.

Gutted to say that I'm not going to make the full weekend for the Bash now. Should still be able to get down for one day, probably the Saturday but nowt more. Bugger.
