I've sussed it Tony
To compensate for the difference in air pressure I have to run my pellet polishing lathe anti clockwise!
Just have to calculate the coarseness of the polishing compound and the rpm setting!

This sounds like the breakthrough we've been waiting for, must be right because it involves a lathe. Nothing in airgun tuning doesn't need a lathe.

Hang on I've just had a thought, what about delrin bands on pellets !!!!!

Good field for everything else though. Couldn't help noticing that the fire pit site was right up near that house, seemed a bit exposed & possibly causing a nuisance to that house knowing how raucous we can get late on.


I'd be OK with being at the same field but doing the late night stuff down in the wood, it's not that far, just a thought.

I thought this field was actually better as it's all a bit more together (less of a trek to the car) and access from the road is about as simple as it gets. Might be a different story in the mud though?

I think there may have been an article giving advice regarding the correct method to achieve this in the April issue of AGW, Pete.

I've got bugger all chance of getting the Friday off but Might be able to come down for the Saturday, it's possible to come down Friday after work but depends on how knackered I am.

Might just caffeen it to get there, then alchohol it, only so I can sleep
