    Question Disabled shooters

Just a quick question.....done firearms and shotguns at my old club but with the decline in my health what do clubs still give us raspberries only shooting airguns now and mainly springers ......getting down prone isn't on the cards and shooting off a bench doesn't appeal to me so what's out there ?

    Good question.
Everything I do shooting wise is competition based - training, planning, personal target setting etc. etc. so my take on shooting is very narrow but in my competition world I come across some amazing individuals striving for excellence in disabled shooting. Look up the category's of SH1 and SH2 both air rifle and pistol at 10M and follow the shooting at the Parra Olympics in Paris - this might be of some interest and spur you onto something big in your life.

On another tack that is less hard core and more club / postal comp rate based there is of course ISSF rested pistol and rifle - this is NOT bench rested. Zooma on here started it rolling in the uk and it is growing well now in clubs in the uk and it is still the biggest growth area for shooing in Germany, many at my club compete in postal comps in it both pistol and rifle - 10m air. It is not easy!!!!!
