    Sorry, no 'Domes !

Good luck with the appointment !
Hi John. Thank you. But won't be taking you up on your fine and generous offer as I don't usually like to stick lots of different pellets through barrels unless pellet testing. The rifle seems very happy on Hobby anyway. But I just thought if they were suffering more at longer ranges I'd try it on Superdomes also as, coming from the same maker, they might use the same lead mix, so little or no re-acclimatisation required. But knowing how surprisingly effective the Supersport was with the Hobby, even at longer ranges, and seeing how well Craig and Daz did with them at longer range at Mick's, I might end up just sticking with the wadcutters anyway. And they do tend to wallop things nicely!

    Thanks again.

And we're really looking forward to seeing you again, Paul.

Wow! Another Weihrauch! Ooo-er, missus; what's that, then? Or are you going to surprise us on the day? Can't wait to see it.

I said yes for fish & chips too, if I can't make it I'll pay for them via bank transfer, but at this point it looks like (touch wood) I can make it.

Only one more day in the hamster wheel and then freedom, boings, twangs & beer
Yay and continued finger crossing here for everything to align for you.

P.S....if I can't hit anything at the weekend, it's because my trigger finger's got cramp in it from keeping them crossed for you! How's that for an excuse?

Ah, is that the Barnsdale area / long running bridge repair thing? Been going on for ages, has that! Guessing Dave will have encountered this a few times on his travels. Maybe not the end of the world, slowing journey time by about twenty minutes? Unless things have got worse? Just wondering what might be a good alternative route if one was trying to avoid that section of the A1? Flip onto M62 East and then re-join the A1 via the M18? Or go M62 and M1?

If it was me I'd join the M1 North of Leeds and come down that way and exit at Donnington.

    From the M1 North.
Exit at the East Midlands Airport Junction ( also the donnington junction).
Follow signs to East Midlands Airport.
Take the A6 left towards Loughborough, first set of traffic lights up the hill.
    Take the A6006 left towards Rempstone/Wymeswold .
After the village of Wymeswold on a bend, Take the left turn signed Willoughby.
Keep on that road, crossing the A46 at the go kart track.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.

    FTT then ?
I’d be looking at those to gain the extra legs based on your “same lead mix” theory !
