If it’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve shot the item then I always do the first one of the session.
Just need some advice on how ofter should I pop a drop of pellgun oil onto my capsules to keep this functioning properly.

Rightly or wrongly, I drop a few drops of gun oil into the cartridge chamber every couple of months, or when I remember. First couple of shots spreads it around and ejects excess. Never had any seal problems in almost 20 years, with any of my CO2 guns. FWIW, when I had an RWS 225, Dynamit Nobel the then importers, recommended NOT using Crosman cartridges containing oil, as they tended to clog the valves.
Walther CP-2 Match, FAS 604 & Tau 7 target pistols, Smith & Wesson 6" & 4" co2 pistol,
Baikal IZH 53 pistol, Gamo CFX Royal,177, Umarex SA-10 CO2 pistol.
Thanks for the replies to my question this is really great.👌
I coat my bulbs with a bit of oil every time I exchange them.

Every 2nd or 3rd cartridge for me...
Do it too often and it's easy to turn the inside of the valve into a gungy mess in my experience.
