What a nightmare the trigger is, took all afternoon & it's still not right Had a spring ping off at one point, that took nigh on a hour to find

I removed the safety on the third try & it's still a PITA, I'm going to gas the ram up next & see if that makes a difference. Got a bad chest infection atm, that's my excuse

The .22 barrel that I put on it could be unused, the bluing shows no wear & the latch slot had to be reamed out to take the latch

I've also been desperately trying to ignore the BSA underlever in the sales section

Update, I removed the trigger parts & put some air in the ram, this moved the piston forwards & the trigger bits all went back on in a couple of minutes & it's now functioning, minus the Safety which was bent (no wonder it was a pain) . Just need to play with the pressure in the ram now. And buy another scope......

Ah, glad you finally got there, Paul. I hope the fine tuning goes well now.

And hope you're feeling better soon.

A bit of airgun related spending on the scope and that other rifle should help with the recovery, Paul

Yep, in just three weeks' time we'll be less than a handful of hours away.

Just need some minor tweeks & a scope that matches its age & fits the Theoben scope rings

I'll also need a scope for the Supersport, I'm disenchanted with Hawke, I have two, on one the objective came loose & the other won't hold zero.

Only three weeks to go, still have to decide which guns to take

Yep, some of the Hawkes I've owned haven't exactly impressed. Although I do really like the Airmax.

Nikko glass does seem to suit me.

And that Wulf of CapitalBee's impressed in the Summer. Very nice glass and clear, bold reticle. I might be getting one very soon....

How do you mean, Andy? Lane allocation / timings? Well, although we pegged the number at 27, so it's exactly divisible by the number of lanes at our disposal, I really don't thing any of us will struggle for shooting opportunities. Everyone needs to sit back and take breaks and I'd guess there'll be a good bit of nattering going on than concentrated shooting, so I don't think we need to try and allocate slots etc. I think most people will have a good idea of when to stop and allow others to shoot.

I think Brian did mention the possibility of some different, "fun" targets, too, so he might have a few tricks up his sleeve for us.

Bring magnets to securely fasten paper targets to holders.

I just wondered if any particular targets were going to be put up, should I bring what I want to shoot at?

They sell card targets at the range, I'm going to buy what they have got because not only have they done a lot to accommodate us, but they will fit the target holders that have on site.

I think they also have spinners etc too, Tony will be able to confirm that.

Good tip about magnets, I could get some off the bay. Or maybe bulldog clips ? I have some of them laying around.

I was wondering if we break each of the three sessions into three & divide the attendees into three groups, maybe using a colour code or something, like blues, reds & greens ?

That way each person would be guaranteed three hours more or less.

    Okay on the targets then.

I bought these for a range I have been too and also for the target holder I use at home.

Fridge Magnets, 8 Pack 12 x 16 mm Black Neodymium Magnets Push Pins, Strong Magnet, Whiteboard Magnets, Magnetic Thumb Tacks, Magnetic Push Pins for Whiteboard, Magnets for Fridge, Office, Map, Photo : Amazon.co.uk: Stationery & Office Supplies

When I asked what the setup was the other day, they split the session into 30 minute chunks so that people can go out and change their targets.

They look a lot better than the ones I've been looking at on the bay.

30 minutes is a good idea, more rotation, targets may need replacing more often than that though. I kinda forget about the replacement bit because at my local range the targets are on motorised dollies, no one ever goes out onto the range it's self.
