Yep, temps picking up for us from Tuesday.

North West Scotland were already into double figure temps this morning!

No nicking bits off mine when I'm in the bogs ! One will pop up on Protek one day.


I need to swap another scope over for the 35, it's got a cheap bushy on there but not sure if it's a fake one as it doesn't seem to focus too well, I don't want it messing with my eyesight like the Hawke scope did

Finally remembered to order some magnets

Can't be doing with blurry scopes. The worrying thing is that sometimes I don't know if it's the scope or my eyes.

Can't seem to find the Donny Range sales thread, if anyone fancies some single rifle hard cases, Dokosport I think, certainly one of them, I'll get them down from the attic and down the road. Paid 60 the pair last year, my CFs are too wide with the scopes, 40 the pair or 25 each. Apologies if doing this wrong, can also get them down and pictured and measured etc.

The sales thread will still be there. I'm guessing that, as it has been so quiet on the thread and over a certain number of days since anyone may have posted, you'd have to either use the search facility or change the display criteria at the bottom right of the Sales home page to find the thread.

I would imagine that plenty of people will see them here, though.

If I get the chance tomorrow I'll pull the TX out, get the AAFs and JSBs out, check the short range zero and fasteners.

I'm still wondering about how we divide the time up, if we split into three groups & have half hour slots I'm presuming some people would like to be in the same group as their friends or relatives ?

At least if the benches are all changeable for left / right handed shooters that doesn't have to be put in the mix.

The first group will also have to be those who get there early, not everyone will I suspect.

My magnets have arrived & seem ideal. Still not 100 % sure what rifles to bring, might be a day of shit shooting with guns I've never used before, but then, meh.

Just being there amongst friendly, like-minded enthusiasts is enough for me, Paul.

Not quite sure how best to split groups etc. But everyone will be friendly and flexible, I'm sure, so everyone will get plenty of shooting time in.

One thing we won't be able to do is have guns out of their bags in the seating area - they're only to come out at the shooting station. I'm sure we'll be okay if there are two or three at a station if different people were wanting to try out a particular attendee's gun for a few shots, as long as only one gun being used per station at any one time?
