Scott's rifles from NS were absolutely stunning to shoot, although I already knew this as I've bought enough from him- he's like my personal arms dealer!
That 77 made me think about getting Nick to look at mine after all, although as you know it shoots well as it is so I'm guessing it's had something done during its life. Just don't know what.

Loved having a go with that awesome .177 Rapd of gsxrman's and 'surprise of the day' for me was Waddy's little Relum- what a cracking garden plinker that is!

Thanks to you & Waddy for getting this off the ground, and to Brian & all at Donny range for a great day.
I’m being lazy Paul can only echo your thanks to all mentioned, what a fantastic day and very enjoyable evening, be great to do that again

We had an amazing time hosting you all and truly appreciate the great conversations and the enthusiasm everyone brought along. A special shout-out goes to Thomas, whose hot chocolate was absolutely outstanding—thank you for keeping us all warm and cozy!

Looking forward to more events like this and seeing you all again soon!

    Best regards,
    Brian & Leanne

Here's a short video I shot (shamelessly capturing myself shooting one of the new Precihole SX200 Minerva springers)

Cheers Brian, we couldn't have had a better hosts. The range is superb & you really have thought of everything.

I'm sure we'll be having more meets there, Doncaster is a very good location, being close to major routes & it's well set up for hospitality because of the racecourse.

I'm chuffed to bits with the Wulf Lightning scope too

    Blimey we're on youtube

I personally had a great day.
Tried a 25 yard bench rest card.
    Tried Brian's challenge targets.

There were lots of lovely rifles to look at.

My thanks to Tony and Paul for sorting this out.

Thanks to Brian, leanne and all at Doncaster airgun range for making us so welcome.

Many echoes from what has already been said.
We had a great day and evening, from reminiscing with Chris to being shuffled across 3x tables in the pub.
Big thankyou to Paul and Tony for organising, thanks to Bri for hosting, being a gentleman with banter as always.
Also, big thanks to Bri for fitting the scope to the old fellas rifle, sorting him out with mounts and zeroing it for him even though it wasn't your scope, saving me the job. True Gent.
Probably biggest thanks is to everyone who made myself and the old fella (as bash or meeting virgins) very welcome.
    Excellent "chilled" day.
Look forward for doing all again.
    Steve and Trev.

Just goes to show how good they can be with relatively little done.....standard bore and stroke, standard piston, just a very well suited spring, guides and seal combination. Most excellent.

Thank you for the ride on and the chats.

With us living so closeby, we'll have to try & meet up occasionally.

pleasure matey, I have a few 80’s that have had the same treatment, we’ll have to meet up and you can give me your thoughts on them

looking forward to the next one

No worries re getting it off the ground, Paul; Brian and Leanne made it all so easy. The credit's all theirs.

With your 77 shooting so, so sweetly, I'd be tempted to leave alone (if it ain't broke, don't fix it), although I can appreciate the temptation.

Didn't try the Rapid but did try the Cricket - great little thing.

And Paul's little Relum was a belter. Very, very sweet cycle and lovely trigger. Old school, solid, no nonsense.

Huge thank you to Brian, Leane & the staff at the Doncaster Airgun Range, superb venue with everything you need for a shooting session, good stock of pellets, & targets at very reasonable prices too.

Absolutely chuffed with the amazing Wulf Lightning scope I bought too, what a bargain

Thanks to Tony for setting it up with Brian & for everything you've done keeping this thread going. A huge thanks to everyone that came & I hope to see you all again, if not at another meet up at Donny then at one of the fantastic Bashes during the warmer months.

I'm certainly up for doing that again, maybe slightly differently in some ways like people putting a small deposit down & maybe even just doing the mid day & afternoon sessions.

The Premier Inn & Beefeater worked well too, car park on site so not far to carry things to your room & no long walk in the cold to get food & drink.

As for pics, I never think to take them as too busy chatting & shooting, I think Brian might have taken some ?

    .
Yep, Brian, Leanne and the team certainly did us proud, Paul. Firstly from making it so easy to organise and then to have the day run so smoothly with no hitches. Fantastic!

Yes, I think for future meets, maybe those two later sessions (making it easier for people travelling longer distances if they're not staying over) and, depending on FIRM numbers, a few less lanes?

Meal and drinks venue was excellent - thank you.

Re your 35 - I'd be tempted to whip the trigger unit out, degrease and check. I wonder if the tab on the cage is hindering safety catch operation? Degreasing / re-lubing should cure that sticking sear. Please also double check that the bottom sear is clear of the woodwork. That might be it! You'll get a clearer idea as soon as you remove the stock.

Shame you haven't got open sights option on this, as barrel droop would be a non-issue. Some adjustable mounts are going to be the order of the day.

Hope you get it set up to perfection; it's a beautiful thing.

Big thanks once again, Brian. What a superb day. Brilliantly organised, hitch-free, seamless.

Yes, big thanks to Tom. What a nice, friendly and polite young chap he is. I didn't partake in one of his hot chocolates- I'll be up for it next time!

Hope everything worked out okay for you nice peeps at D.A.R and we can't wait to get back.

Will watch the video later on the phone....

Brilliant to see you again, sir.

And thank you for letting me have a play with those lovely non-boingy boingers. Absolutely lovely. Every single one of them.

Glad you enjoyed, Neil. And it must have been nice to be able to arrive, shoot, chat etc and not have to run around organising things for a Bash, setting up, all the donkey work, lugging, tidying up etc., etc...you do such a wonderful job sorting those out for us and they're always so well organised, enjoyable and glitch-free.

And thank you for the lift back. Very much appreciated. The missus was probably slightly less grumpy than she otherwise might have been!
