Yes, I’ve got both pistons. The leather one will give a bit more stroke with a Vortek conversion. But if you long stroke the T20 way you can use a AA seal.

Nice spring for the old 50 is the Maccari as suggested.

All 25mm sealed Weihrauchs changed to a synthetic piston seal in 1983, Tone.

I take it that this coincided with the introduction of the HW77 with its 25mm synthetic seal.

This would then follow the HW35 gaining a synthetic seal in 1981 with the introduction of the HW80.
