Thank you for that, Pauly. That's, hopefully, good news then.

As you point out, though, a little confused as to why he hasn't nipped in.

    How you feeling, Little Bruv?

    I知 sure he will Tone.

I知 ok matey, when I booked my appointment with the Consultant on Monday this week, they gave me 26th March but then I got a call the next day on the Tuesday and they offered me a cancelled appointment for the next morning so that痴 three weeks saved. Got my pre-op assessment next Tuesday 11th and they will always do the op within 28 days of that - 15 days after for the last one I had. So, I知 guessing I値l be fettled within the next four weeks or so . Still unlikely that I値l make The Bash though methinks. I am hoping to chuck my leg over the bike and get out this Summer though before it comes to an end

Cheers John. All being well, I値l be fine for July. I致e had the experience of having the right hip replaced so my expectations are set but yes, I need to not rush it as I do have a bit of a tendency to overdo things a bit

Yep, I hope Pete pops in soon.

Great to hear you're okay, Pauoy, other than that pain from the hip. Great news about that cancelled appointment and being able to bring yours forwards. Not the nicest thing to have done but at least you already know the score and you'll be out and about sooner than expected. There'll be no stopping you once fully recovered!

As you say, you're going to be missing this first Bash but you'll hopefully be fine for the July and September ones and I'm sure you'll be getting out on the Trumpet before the Summer's out and enjoying those sounds and good vibes.

Nope, just DIY. Looks like more floorboards are coming up upstairs so I can glue squares of plasterboard over the cracks in the dining room ceiling. Then I can fill the cracks before papering it. PITA but it works & no bulge either.

The seals have arrived from H100, each one is labelled which is excellent as there are loads of them. I think I'll start with the easiest & most obvious ones & see if that fixes it. I'm wondering if it's got an aftermarket reg in there as the cylinder has little paper seals on that have been torn. I've got a gauge for it too but no instructions as to what it should read.

I might have earned enough brownie points to get to the range tomorrow. It was packed last week. We might even get out for a shortish walk this afternoon all being well.

More DIY? Oh no! One of my pet hates! Sorry, Paul, I feel for you. I don't mind gardening so much, as at least you're outdoors, seeing and listening to dick birds etc and feeling like you're a bit in touch with your surroundings.

Great that the seals have arrived. I hope the assessment and subsequent fix all goes well. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get the information you need re the gauge reading on here quite easily, or on YT.

I hope you managed to get out for a walk later yesterday. The weather was lovely, wasn't it? And more lovely weather today, also, so it'd be a huge bonus if you can make it to the range.

Hoping to have a quick play with the '35 in the garden after work today.

The weather and temperatures are taking a dip for a few days from Tuesday. But at least we've had a brief sample tasting of some nicer conditions for a few days and it surely won't be long until we can enjoy more Spring-like conditions for a sustained period.

At least the ceiling is fixed, just been outside to feed the birds & there's a duck on the hedge & one on the roof. Any other birds & it would be normal but ducks just look mental anywhere other than in a pond.

The weather was unusually good yesterday (14 ーc) so we went out & had a coffee & toby around an estate that is now a bhuddist centre, which was nice but somewhat surreal.

Not sure how things will play out this afternoon, but it's very good range weather, next to no wind. Weather dips here too next week, but then I'm back at work so it's kinda fitting.

Seal fitting is probably an after work job so hopefully it'll be sorted come next week end, maybe.

Hope you get out with the 35, the evenings are drawing out nicely now, sunset will be after 6 soon
