Thanks John and Tony for the info re. the Sportsmatch TO6C 13mm dovetail scope mounts - a set will be going on order tonight.
Current finances only allow for 1 set, though I could really do with at least 3 sets (4 x 1960's & 70's HW35's, Brummy BSA Lightning XL Tactical, Mercury Challenger, Superstar etc.).

    Regards, Alastair

    Alastair,

This might be another more cost effective option:

    https://www.ant-supplies.uk/scope-ri...cal-split.html

I use the 25mm low mounts on my BSA Lightning as it brings the scope height up just right on a Maxirail. I also found it fits the older HW35's well, especially with the hogs back design of the stock. The page says sold out, but I'd check with an email, as he'll advise when new stock is planned and at a tenner delivered, they're not too shabby at all.

The days are really pulling out now, nice to be getting up in daylight at last.
Sorry to hear those washers haven't arrived as yet, Paul. But I hope you managed to get to the range and have an enjoyable time.

Sorry to hear about your back. I hope it improves for you very soon. And, yes, lovely with these days lengthening out so much.

Is there shooting sales of rifles/ equipment ?
Please refer to posts #1 and #6 for an idea.

Yes, there is usually a Sales Table at these events where people can buy and sell airguns and related equipment etc. A thread is usually started around 30 days prior to the event so that people can list what they're going to bring to sell.

Hope you can make it. A most enjoyable time is assured.

Paul, a shame you won't be in attendance in May. You'll just have to keep both of the pellets you would have shot and have a blow out later in the year! I'll have to nip over and visit, I'll be needing some tips on CP2 fettling after next weekend.

That'll be why our LittlePaulyBoy's such a crackshot, Mark. Quality over quantity......with so few pellets to have to contend with he has the time to lovingly weigh, measure, size, wash, dry and lubricate them to absolute perfection!
