Cool TbT Tuning, brilliant service again

I've had a few kits and bits and bobs from Nick over the years and have always been impressed with the quality of the product and the excellent service.

And Nick's gone and done it again. I'd ordered a '99 kit to try in my old-school '50, but with a 25mm guide flange. It arrived in super-quick time, is lovely quality but the spring may not have quite fitted inside the piston properly once the spring was compressed. T20 jumped in to the rescue and made me some lovely bespoke guides for the standard spring. And I have a ''99 kit, but with a 25mm flange. A quick message to Nick asking if he wouldn't mind sending a 26mm flange and asking the price. Again, in super-quick ime, the flange arrived today....gratis!

Thanks, Nick. You're a little star. Top service from a top geezer!

25 mm is a good place to start, then work back.

I had a really bad experience with a TBT kit once

A really bad horrible shooting HW95 was in my possession so after opening it up and fitting a TBT kit along with a short stroke nose it shot so nice that a mate of mine was purchasing a different rifle from me and as I’d just finished the 95 I asked him to have a go to see what he thought……errr big mistake he liked the 95 so much he bought that instead of the rifle he was supposed to buy

    Meh…. thanks for that Tinners

There are some words in the English vocabulary that are awesome, aren't there.

"Flange" just rolls off the tongue so..oh, no, stop it!

He is a top bloke, I messaged him last week about 2 15mm piston extensions, sent him the money and 2 day's later they arrived, I'm really impressed with the quality, dead easy to fit if you follow his instructions, can't fault him, be nice to see him at a bash at some point, atb Daz

Have to agree, had a couple or three kits from Nick, had a slight problem with one and a new spring flew my way rapidly. As Tony said, gratis.
He's a top man, Nick I mean. That isn't to say that Tony is not a top man, what I mean is,,,,, oh never mind.

I just chucked one of his 12mm short stroke kits in my HW80 .22 today. I was genuinely shocked by how much it's improved my accuracy with the gun.

I'm not exactly sure how far away my plinking target is in the garden but I was managing groups of just over an inch. After the tune, on the same target, a few times I put a second shot down and it went exactly where the first one landed. I fired 20+ at the same spot and a 5p coin would easily cover the group with room to spare.

I wish I'd done it a lot sooner, it was a really simple job. After a good amount of time shooting PCP's I was quite disappointed with my accuracy with the 80. I didn't have the confidence to shoot squirrels off of my fence with it, which was the whole point of buying the thing. They've got no chance now!
Big guns, little guns and others in between...
