Mero is quite good, but I have a feeling it only works on Android phones and not iphones. HTH
Does anybody know of a simple to use ballistic calculator similar to the old Chairgun programme that used to be around?
Thx.

Chairgun is still available to download, just google it, and as neither ballistics, maths or physics has changed it still works & is still simple to use.
All that happened is Hawke no longer update their scope model info, & no new pellet types are added.
You may need to download java for it to run if using Win 11.
Another problem with Chairgun is that it does not have any of the airgun specific modern reference drag laws in it. MERO is the only software with a full set of airgun ammunition specific reference drag laws. If you need them or not depends on how accurate you want your calculations to be.
yeah, works just fine for me too

Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.
Both Strelok versions, the free and paid are still available to download and I find the free version is the easiest of all available to use.
Search/Google Hawke Chairgun,
one of the first results should be https://uk.hawkeoptics.com/chairgun-...d-of-life.html
Bottom of the page are legacy download links.
or just click that address link![]()
Thanks all, that's really useful... I'l take a look at both options

I've unfortunately lost chairgun after getting a new laptop
I can't find a download for chairgun anywhere now. The Hawke legacy links appear dead
Managed to get Mero though, so that will do me now

No, it still works I've just tried it this morning & it downloaded to my idea-padwhen the page opens just scroll down & click the link.
When I searched for a free download it generated half a dozen options, even Airguns of Arizona have a link.
