Mine in .177 gives good groups with JSB Exact 8.44gr 4.53

Good job too.... as they also work well in my TX and my 35
    TX200 .177 | HW80SLK .177 | HW35 .177 | HW100 (or 2) .177 | HW77K .177
    HW40 | HW44 | HW45 | Diana Mod5 | Webley Premier | Webley Hurricane | Crosman 1377

I now shoot Domed Spitfire pellets after trying all the other brands this is spot on. Mind you i have no choke on my barrel and its the very early HW80 with angled forend. I did shoot Eley wasps but they are no longer available, shame.

RWS slugs interesting, Not HN HP slugs? Any links.

For best accuracy If it's 22 try falcon accuracy plus or JSB Exact RS., 177, JSB exact or AA diablo field.

In .22 JSB RS or Falcon AP (one and the same in my rifles).

All of my HW springers seem to really like the H&N Field Target Trophy.

If it's .177, try the Trophy, Baracuda 8, Baracuda FT, JSB Exact (plus the Express and RS versions).

If it's .22, try the Trophy, the RWS Superdome and SuperField plus the JSB Exact Jumbo (plus the RS and Express versions).

As above, always a good idea to check the output of the '80.

    Enjoy.

Varies really, good starting point is H&N FTT - if it’s .22 the 5.53 seem to be the staple diet of most HW80’s, also RWS work well in some of mine, I also found JSB Straton & H&N Spitzkugel were very good
