Logun Mk2

Just wondering a few things about the Logun Mk2 rifles. I have one & trying to sell it. They are a marmite gun I know that allready but I actually like the magazine as I can load as I shoot if wanted, it's more accurate than I'm capable of, cocking is really smooth. Overall a verry well made gun I think. Set up for accupels but I was shooting verminpell flat heads today. Poi the same at 15 & 20yds to the accupels. What are the experiences of owners past & presant ? I've priced it in the sales section based on the lower end
of guntrader prices with no interest at all. It has to go as now feeling the weight. If the value has plummeted as the market dictates I might as well keep it. What are they worth realisticly ??

They're worth what the market dictates, probably around £325-350 at the moment, given the general financial situation.
Last month there was a nice Rapid up for only £600 with little or no interest, just market conditions.
I had a Logun rifle mk1 & loved it, especially the tube magazine, but obviously it is limiting unless it has the spare shuttles for different pellets,
plus with a rifle of that age there needs to be good spares support.

Thanks for that AB. I don't need but want to sell. New prices sky rocketing with used prices plummeting, bit wierd to say the least. I can't think of anything the same quality that could be bought for that price. Verry little is said about old Loguns, seems to be fading away as a distant memory.

I find this a somewhat confusing reply, Yes new prices rise & used prices fall but that's the way of the world with anything,
what you can buy now of whatever quality has nothing to do with the value of a 10-15 yo discontinued rifle .

If was a current competitor a year or two old, there would be a correlation, but past that, new is new, & old is old,
sadly Logun's are now just a quirky old rifle with an "interesting" magazine system,
maybe in 20-30 years time they will acquire 'cult' status, maybe not.

That's why I fancy one, quirky magazine system.
I just don't need any more PCP's.
I have over nine Brocock rifles from the same period that don't get shot often enough.

What I meant was there is a demand for new rifles & prices are sky rocketing, demand for used is declining along with price reductions. I've noticed even popular used rifles are struggling.

The Mk2 s very different from..pretty much anything else out there. I had one and the inline mag was butter smooth to operate and a delight to shoot, stupidly i moved it on as was .22 and i needed .177 for HFT at the time. I think the thumbhole stocks are super nice (you're ad doesnt say which i dont think) . At the end of the day as with all things they are worth what someone will pay - i sold mine some 10 + years ago for around £250/ so £300/ 350 ish allowing for an older rifle and inflation might be a better price ...everything will sell for a price just ask Ryanair...you just need to find the market value.

I bought it years ago, an impulse purchase. Googled & found little info & according to guntrader not a bad price paid. From comments here perhaps guntrader back then was optimistic ?? I'll have to re think about selling maybe. For all its quirks maybe I should keep it & sell some others ??
