Phoenix Arms Hy-score air pistol = High price

The Hy-scores air pistols made by Phoenix Arms company in the UK, sell for high amounts at auctions in the USA.

Auction has 2 more days to go.

Just exceeding rare in the US. Couldn’t be imported because of the lack of a safety. The fake moderator was thought to run a foul of our silencer laws, but I don’t see this to be much of a real concern because it is just a hollow tube. The cool factor is a bit off the charts here! Lot of Hy-Score collectors here and many would love to have one to complete a collection.

And here’s some more ***PRN*** for our American friends. Like Stu’s, mine is also a complete set (bits in bags to protect them from the fabulous self-destructing foam). These UK sets come up for sale surprisingly often in the UK, but all seem to suffer from the foam degrading. It can obviously be replaced, but I haven’t done so far (not for sake of originality).

    Thumbs up

Here's mine but the foam turned to dust since this pic was taken by the chap that I swapped two Webley mk1 slant grip pistols for!!

My mate (Kamag on here) set a target up on his back garden about 30-35 feet away, Fired one shot and hit the bull as near as could be to the very centre of the bull!, He said no need for another shot as it couldn't be any better!!!

Nice pellet tins - are all of those tins US ones? - though the lower red one obviously is, and I think u can just see USA on the blue one (I’ve not come across UK made ones myself, so not sure if they made any or not in the short time.)

I once owned this one for a little while but could not get on with the chrome sights - too much reflection!

Currently looking for Baikal Makarov pistols with the following prefixes to the serial number: 98, T01,
Prefer boxed or cased but will consider loose examples too.

I handled one once, but never shot it. From what I recall, I’d agree it would be too shiny to shoot properly.

    Never seen a chrome one

The chrome one is a nice bit of kit. I have never seen one other than pictures. The Phoenix Hy-scores are very rare in the USA.

The one, I have now does not have the barrel extension, pellet tool or extra barrel. Hopefully I 'll win this one with the extension included.

There's a few lurking in here. The repeater mechanism is the work of a madman.

I had one of these many years back. Bought it from a corner shop that sold all sorts of gear.

It was a nice boxed version. I sold it to Robert Beeman - back then you could ship airguns in and out of the USA without grief.
