15 to go, peeps.
Home internet is messing about again. It's taken half an hour to try and get on this morning.
Thought I'd get this first, and most important post of the day in in case the 'net drops off again.

Had a quick plink with the HW50 and the 35 (the recently worked on, older one) again yesterday.
HW50....lovely, soft, easy. So docile.
The 35 seemed to have gone a little too quick again and a little harsher. I'd shortened the spring a little more last time, degreased and very sparingly lubed and all seemed good. But yesterday it wasn't so nice and groups weren't coming consistently. Some were very good. Some had odd flyers.
Got the chrono out. Power has risen again. A shade under 690 with .22 Hobby for 12.5ft.lbs. Need to shorten spring again and bring her safely below / soften her down. But the spring is now about flush with the cylinder end, so can't lose too much more preload.....
The other thing I didn't quite address on previous builds was the barrel latching. There is a bit of vertical play. I think the profile of the latch vs cut-out in the cylinder aren't matching. I'm using a new latch rod currently. I had ground the pointy end off the old latch but that was the same. Must sort. If I don't get it done in time, this one won't come to The Bash.

That 50 is sounding very appealing Tony.
The spring on my 35 is not even flush with the end of the cylinder, it's inside with only a bit of preload and it's 11.5 ! Not sure if it's standard spring or an A R C one though.
I'd try & get a cast of the inside of the latch hole to see what shape the actual latch wants to be, even plasticine or candle wax would do if there is a lube release agent used to stop it sticking to the metal.
I finally got around to replacing the hammer spring on my AA510, the old one was just over 1mm shorter than the new one. I polished the ends of the spring which were very rough before fitting it & sure enough the missing power reappearedThe old spring had certainly lost it's sprung.
Had a look at the little Relum Taurus last night, the stock screws won't stay tight, it was obvious when I looked at them, next to no thread left on them. I cut a pair of 5mm allen head stainless bolts to fit which has added a bit of bling. The cocking arm pivot bolt was making a bid to escape too, so that's had a spot of blue loctite on it. The power is up to 8 now with RS's & it feels remarkable for what it is. I was thinking of putting a small scope on but the rails are very short, so I might go with a red dot, which won't have close range focus issues for the bell target.
.
Cheers for the reply, Paul. Have to log off now, though. Will look in later.

Good stuff regarding the 510 and the little Relum, Paul. That little Hungarian sounds a sweet little thing. Red dot might just fit the bill, as long as the mounts are sturdy enough (some red dots come with quite flimsy feeling mounts fitted). Or you could fit a small-ish low power scope and use two two-piece mounts close to one another on just the front or the rear. That was the set-uo I used on the HW80 Predator Bullpup and they held zero for years.
Cheers for the tip on making a cast for the latch recess. That should help. What sort of "release agent" would you suggest - some talc, grease, oil or something?
Re the preload, yep, my even older 35 with V-Mach kit kitten's end of guide sits just below the end of the cylinder. And I know that a few of T20's will be similar, so I don't think the seemingly minimal preload will be an issue.
You can have a play with the '50 in two weekends' time.![]()

Had a look at the two spare red dots I've got, the older tasco one seems a better match for the old Relum, and it also fits the wide 12.5mm rails OK. I hadn't realised they weren't 11mm railsIf the red dot doesn't work maybe a small scope & suitable mounts will turn up on the bash sales table.
Re release agent, the best one for most things is vaseline, liberally applied with a small artists paint brush. Once you can see the shape of the hole the answer to the problem might be a lot clearer.
I'll take you up on the go on the 50
