I must be the first home today. So good to see every one again.

    Thanks to
Neil & Tina again for hosting a superb event.
Craig for the marvellous stock checkering
Everyone who tested my 1/4 bore Meteor and especially Jon for his constructive comment.
Melv for lending me 20 quid so I could buy another Meteor from Mike.
and Tony when I told him I'd lost count of how many I have now, replied with a resounding GOOD.

Great to see you once again, Melv. Yes, of course, I can bring the Diana home with me, no problem. And we can arrange the necessary switch-over.

Thank you for letting me try some of your lovely guns. And for the offer of a beer later.

However, the biggest thank you is for letting me have a go with, and look through, your rifles with the peep sights. This confirmed for me what I guessed and hoped would be the case that I am able to use a peep rear (front can be a peep, blade, whatever) both with and without my glasses and get the sights and target sharp. Brilliant. I've been missing not being able to effectively use opens and this is just what I needed.

    Thank you.

Lovely to see you once again, Nick.

Your rifles are always wonderful things to behold and yesterday was no exception. They all shot besutifully and impress so much.

And thank you once again for sharing your expertise and for the offer of further assistance with tinkerings.

Lovely to see you again, sir. And thank you for letting me have a go with the impressive big-bore Meteor.

Congratulations on adding further to the menagerie. That Meteor was an excellent buy. There were far too many tempting rifles on offer from Mike - all at very good prices.

Look forward to seeing you in July.

Lovely to see you and Daz again, Paul. Thank you for letting me have a play and for the entertaining and informative chats. Spring for the '35 project sorted for now but I'm sure I'll be taking one of those from you at some point.

What a wonderful day was had at Quigley Bottom III yesterday.

    Lovely little location, Neil.

And once those clouds cleared we were treated to beautifully hot and sunny conditions.

It was lovely to see everyone again.

So, so many highlights. It would always be so easy to miss out something if trying to list them all. But thank you everyone for letting me have a go with so many of your special and cherished rifles. And for the banter, general chat, technical talk and offers of future tinkering assistance.

JB - the rear cocker is with the rifles, ready to come today.

I was also seen to be shooting some very nice, high-end HFT-spec PCPs, courtesy of Gary - those incredible shooting machines really impressed.

    NickG's wonderful toys.

    Mark's fettled AM03.

Nurek's very, very special rifle (I won't mention the name unless you do) - WOW! Simply, WOW! I feel very honoured and privileged. Thank you.

Les's sidelevers. Loved having a go. Thanks, Les. But most especially the Bora.

    Mike's cheapy little plinker......

Neil's Lightning CLX and Minerva. And I especially enjoyed having another go with the Daisy 880. Other than the slightly fiddly loading, there's nothing not to like about it, really. Gotta get one!

I was impressed at my self-restraint what with the amount of very tempting rifles on sale yesterday. Especially that lovely little Slavia 620 on Mike's stall.

A big thank you to our wonderful hosts Neil and Tina for once again making this happen and making it run so efficiently.

See you again in a few hours.

    BOING!
