Webley Osprey Supertarget - but I do like a technical challenge.

I can't help it really as I am a frustrated mechanical engineer swamped with tedious admin' tasks; tinkering with stuff in the shed is the only hands on engineering I get to do these days!
Too many guns, or not enough time?

Protek Supplies had one with a two-hole top mount for £35 plus £3.90 postage, so I nabbed it.

Looks like the aperture might need a bit of attention, but I think I will be making some sort of adapter or eyecup or something.

Fixing it to the rifle should be straightforward by using a dovetail to picatinny adapter with a bit of filing and drilling and probably some head scratching!
For an extra £15 I would have got the one of the bay of evilness.
Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

By using an adapter on the dovetail you might run out of elevation adjustment. and end up chasing your tail trying to find a different front sight to match hope it all works for you

I was thinking the same thing.

I think there will be enough adjustment with what I have in mind for an adapter. The one on the 'bay had gone before I had time to think about it...

Throwing another into the mix, I will probably get laughed at for this but SMK do a rear target sight which is available for £40

I have one I bought a while back, I am tempted to put it onto my HW80 with the CS600 Tyrolean stock.
I suspect it is for their QB78 target CO2 rifle so it would probably need drilling and tapping for a recoil pin (e.g. a short M4 or M3 screw, black).
It is adjustable for windage and elevation

The thread on the SMK and Gamo units is very fine and in alloy.
It strips easily, especially the windage.
It can be repaired by epoxying an M4 fine nut on the body.
    Repariere nicht, was nicht kaputtist.
