Any chance it might just have lost the gas pressure & need pumping up ?
I live in Canada and own a SLR88 Theoben from new. I took it out this spring and used but something was wrong with it. I think I got two pellets in barrel and after firing nothing came out. Remove pellets and now won’t fire. Sounds normal and cocks normal but air doesn’t make it to barrel. Does anyone know of any place in Canada that could repair? I haven’t found anyone. If not is there a place in UK I could send it for repair. Maybe even get most likely “O”rings or parts sent to me and a gunsmith might be able to install. Any help greatly appreciated thanks Bill

yeah, it's either the ram lost pressure, or..
if the rifle feels like it's firing (ie normal cocking, effort, and recoils on pulling the trigger) then you know the ram is fine, which means either the piston seal is toast, or possibly the barrel has moved forwards fractionally (it's held in place with a couple of grub screws) and lost it's hard seal to the probe.
All of these are easy DIY repairs, or any basically competent gunsmith locally..
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. But not lathes. I have too many lathes. Thanks, JB.
